Paratransit

Improving Paratransit Coordination

Paratransit coordination and efficiency becomes essential in sub-zero temperatures. When the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska issued a request for bids for its AnchorRIDEs paratransit system, it learned that MV’s proficiency in technology could greatly benefit its riding community.

Centralizing a Fractured System

When TransLink issued a request for proposals for its custom transit service – HandyDART – its hope was that it could consolidate 8 service areas into at least three.

Fixed Route

Service Increases Mark Transit Success

In 2001 MV was selected by City of Show Low and Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, Ariz. to operate its deviated fixed route service - the Four Seasons Connection. Over the past decade of serving the community, MV has worked with its client to expand services to reach under served areas of the White Mountain region.

Transparency in Service Delivery

MV Transportation operates just 17 percent of the San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans) fixed route fleet in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Multimode

Building Bridges... with Buses

As the City of Lawrence’s (the City) bus operator since 2000, MV knew it could offer significant transit benefits to nearby University of Kansas (KU).

Rolling into Upstate New York

In January 2011, MV partnered with the Ontario County as the operator of Ontario County Area Transit System (CATS).

Shuttle

Transportation to the Happiest Place...

The Anaheim Transportation Network (ATN) selected MV as its operator for the Anaheim Resort Transit (ART), a 365-day shuttle service catering to tourists, residents, and employees of the Disneyland Resort Main Transportation Center.

Our Job: Getting People to Their Jobs

In 2008, MV was selected as the transportation contractor for the Bechtel/Jacobs Joint Venture, representing Motiva in its Crude Expansion Project. Every day, MV transports the 2,400 construction workers who are building the largest refinery in the United States.
