MV Transportation has assembled a superior management team with extensive experience in the field of passenger transportation contracting.

Jon Monson
Board Chair
Jon Monson is Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Monson has more than 30 years of experience in the field of passenger transportation contracting, including nine years as CEO of MV Transportation. During his career, Mr. Monson has been responsible for over 1,000 different publicly funded transportation contracts in the United States and Canada.

Feysan Lodde
Founder and Director
Feysan Lodde, co-founder of MV Transportation continues to serve on the company’s Board of Directors. Ms. Lodde is an active member of the San Francisco political community and serves as the company’s primary political lobbyist. Ms. Lodde is an active participant in the ongoing operation of the company, attends company presentations and interviews for new business, and works to develop relations with elected officials in jurisdictions where the company does business.

Shirley A. DeLibero
Strategic Advisor
Shirley A. DeLibero, a 28-year transit veteran, serves as the Strategic Advisor to MV. Ms. DeLibero works closely with the executive team to help the company realize its strategic vision.
Throughout her career, Ms. DeLibero has remained dedicated to the improvement of passenger transportation throughout the United States. Among her many credentials, Ms. DeLibero has served as Assistant General Manager for WMATA, Deputy Executive Director for DART in Dallas, Executive Director for New Jersey Transit, and President and CEO of Houston Metro – whose rail operations center bears her name.
Shirley has been very active in several industry organizations and served as Chair of APTA in 1999 and presently serves as Chair of COMTO. She was inducted into APTA’s Hall Of Fame in 2006 and received The Sharon Banks award for Innovative Leadership in Transportation from The Transit Research Board in 2007.

Kevin Klika
Chief Operating Officer/President
Kevin Klika is MV’s Chief Operating Officer/President and has direct oversight of all of MV’s transportation, maintenance, safety, human resources and IT operations. He brings extensive transit management experience to MV’s executive team, with 2009 marking his decade long tenure at MV.
Kevin joined MV as the company’s Chief Operating Officer, and later served as the President of Western U.S. operations from 2003 through 2008. Prior to joining MV, Kevin worked as a District Manager for Mayflower Contract Services in Southern California.

Brad Cornelsen
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Brad R. Cornelsen is MV’s Chief Financial Officer. His responsibilities for MV include financial planning, budgetary assistance, tax, payroll, accounting oversight, billing and reconciliation as well as establishing security and fare reporting procedures for MV clients. Prior to joining MV, Brad worked for SPX Corporation (SPW) as their Global Director of Finance. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Brad holds a degree in Accounting, and is an actively licensed certified public accountant.

Benjamin Parrish
General Counsel
Mr. Ben Parrish is MV’s General Counsel, overseeing the Company’s legal matters, contract administration, compliance, and audit functions. Prior to joining MV in 2008, Mr. Parrish served for 10 years as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Central Parking Corporation (CPC), the world’s leading parking services provider and formerly a New York Stock Exchange listed company. Prior to his position with Central Parking, he was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Smith & Nephew North America, an international healthcare company.

Robert Hargis
Executive Vice President – Risk Management
Mr. Robert Hargis is responsible for Workers' Compensation Claims, Liability Claims, and Insurance Management. Prior to joining MV, Mr. Hargis was the Risk Manager for Ruan Transportation Management Systems for fourteen years.
Mr. Hargis’ background also includes 10 years experience in the commercial insurance industry, with underwriting and claims responsibilities over large fleet accounts and six years experience as a dedicated Risk Manager for entities with large fleets.

Dan Abfalter
Senior Vice President – Human Resources
Mr. Dan Abfalter joined MV as Senior Vice President of Human Resources in 2009. Mr. Abfalter is responsible for benefits and compensation strategy, labor relations, employee relations, and all human resource functions. Prior to joining MV, Mr. Abfalter held key human resource positions at 24-Hour Fitness, Raley’s Grocery/Drugstore Chain and Safeway Stores.

Alex Guariento
Senior Vice President - Safety
Mr. Alex Guariento joined MV as Senior Vice President of Safety in 2009. In his role, Mr. Guariento creates safety policies and procedures, conducts company-wide safety audits, creates new safety training programs and leads the safety efforts for the company. Mr. Guariento has more than 24 years experience in the transportation industry, and 14 years of safety management with Greyhound Lines, Inc.

Marsha Moore
Chief Information Officer – IT
Ms. Marsha Moore is a prominent leader in Transportation Information Technology. For the past 20 years, Marsha has developed some of the most advanced and innovative technology products, which have become standards in public and private transit operations across the nation.
Marsha was the founder and former President of On-Line Data, Inc. and original programmer of the PASS product – her work is the foundation of the Trapeze Scheduling System, software that holds 80 percent market share in the transportation industry today.

John Calame
Senior Vice President – Maintenance
Mr. Calame has more than 30 years of experience in transportation maintenance and has been responsible for as many as 250 locations and 12,000 buses. In his tenure as Senior Vice President of Maintenance and Facilities for MV, John has been instrumental in growing the company from 17 maintenance locations to more than 78.
Prior to joining MV in 2001, Mr. Calame worked for Laidlaw Transit Services, Inc. and Pace Suburban Bus. John was the National Director of Maintenance for Laidlaw, responsible for maintenance programs for 165 public contracts in the U.S.

Gary Willms
President MV Sales and Leasing
Gary Willms joined MV Sales and Leasing as President in 2009. He brings with him more than 30 years in transportation manufacturing. Prior to joining MV, Mr. Willms served as the VP responsible for business development, sales, marketing, bids, publications and communication for ISE Corporation. He also served as Neoplan USA’s VP of Sales, Marketing and Program Management; and previously worked for the Gillig Corporation.
Mr. Willms is a member of a variety of APTA’s Business Member’s Committees, and was a member of APTA’s BMBG and Board of Directors. He spent 12 years as a Navy Pilot with two tours in Vietnam, and spent 14 years in the Navy Reserve serving as Commander on a Carrier Group Admiral’s Staff based out of Alameda, California.

Nate Smith
President – Western Operations
Mr. Nate Smith joined MV as President of Western Region Operations in 2009. Mr. Smith has oversight of MV’s team of regionally based vice presidents and support personnel. He ensures contract compliance and the operational success of more than 70 locations. In addition to bringing years of top management experience to MV, Nate also served more than 10 years in the United States Navy as a SEAL Operations Officer and Platoon Commander. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago.
