Though founded back in 1975, MV remained a small, family owned company during our first 20 years of service - operating about five locations.
In the mid 1990s - during the first wave of consolidation within the transportation industry - several small and mid-sized companies merged and acquired each other. The result was the emergence of several major multinational corporations left to compete for transit contracts.
In an effort to ensure that fair competition remained, and along with our belief that there must be choice in transportation freedom, MV emerged as a new contract option in public transit.
Today, more than 12,000 employees work to provide freedom for passengers in more than 100 locations, offering a wide array of transportation solutions to public and private entities throughout 24 states.
